Arthur (1967), is a financial professional with a focus on international banking (including fintech, digitalization and financial inclusion solutions), international financial services, and investments.

He is currently also the chairman of the Association of International Bankers of Curaçao and St. Maarten (IBA), a member of the Board of Trustees of Caribbean, Central American Action in Washington DC (CCAA) focused on fintech / financial inclusion and USD correspondent banks’ issues, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Curaçao International Financial Center (CIFC), and linked to Holland Fintech in Amsterdam.

He is the former chairman of the Foundation Development Projects Logistical Sector in Curaçao (SLS), a former board member of the Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange (DCSX), a former board member of the Curaçao International Financial Services Association (CIFA).

He is a member of the board of supervisory directors of South American International Bank N.V. (SAIB, an institution linked to Grupo Eljuri, the largest economic conglomerate from Ecuador), a former managing director of Exprinter International Bank N.V. (EIB, an institution linked to Supervielle Banco in Argentina), a former member of the board of supervisory directors of Lombard-Atlantic Bank N.V., a former managing director of a number of international business entities.

Related to the public sector, he is a former member of the Task Force Space Expedition Curaçao representing Curaçao Airport Holding N.V., a former member of the Task Force Economic Enforcement and Diversification to the Commissioner of Economic Affairs of Curaçao, a former member of an informal advisory group to the Commissioner of Economic Affairs of Curaçao.

He held several positions within KPMG and the predecessors of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Amsterdam and Curaçao. In these positions, he was especially involved in public accountancy and financial advisory services for listed and non-listed investment funds, private equity entities, real estate companies and international banks.

He has lectured, examined and has been an external member of thesis committee in conjunction with among others, professors from Erasmus University in Rotterdam at a number of educational programs in Curaçao related to the subjects Financial Management, Intermediate Corporate Finance, Accounting, Auditing, and Administrative Organization at the Social Economic Faculty and Accountancy Program of the predecessor of the University of Curaçao, and at the University of the Dutch Caribbean. He is a board member of the Curaçao Baseball Development Foundation and the Radulphus Alumni Foundation. He is also a former board member of the art foundations Teatro Luna Blou and Fundashon di Artista.

He holds a Dutch Master of Science degree (drs) in Business Economics and a post- academic Registeraccountant (RA / Certified Accountant) degree from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
